Der unmenschliche Artillerieangriff vom 22.01.2009 hat eine Einrichtung f\u00fcr behinderte Kinder, das \u201eSweet Life Home\u201c (Iniya Vaalvu illam), und die dicht besiedelte Siedlung vor dem Kinderheim in Vallipunam getroffen. Mehr als 100 Eelamtamilen wurden ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Stra\u00dfen von Vallipunam und Theavipuram sind voller Blut, und \u00fcberall in dem Gebiet, das von der srilankischen Armee (SLA) mit Artillerie und Mehrfachraketenwerfern (MBRL) angegriffen wurde, sind Leichen zu sehen. Das Gemetzel verschlimmerte sich, nachdem die SLA das Gebiet zum \u201esicheren Hafen\u201c erkl\u00e4rt hatte. Am 21.01.2009 wurden am Mittwoch 20 Tote und am 22.01.2009 innerhalb von 12 Stunden etwa 30 Zivilisten gemeldet, so der Regional Director of Health Service (RDHS) f\u00fcr den Distrikt Mullaiththeevu. Es wird bef\u00fcrchtet, dass bei dem wahllosen Bombardement, das auf dicht besiedelte Binnenvertriebenengebiete innerhalb der Sicherheitszone verst\u00e4rkt wurde, noch viele weitere Menschen get\u00f6tet und verwundet wurden. Das medizinische Personal des Krankenhauses gab an, dass es innerhalb von drei Tagen mehr als 200 Verletzte gab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inhumane artillery attack on 22.01.2009 has targeted an institution for disabled children, the ‘Sweet Life Home’ (Iniya Vaalvu illam), and the tightly populated settlement in front of the children home, which is located at Vallipunam. More than 100 Eelamtamils have been rushed to hospital. The roads of Vallipunam and Theavipuram are full of blood and dead bodies are spotted all over the places in the area that has come under attack by the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) artillery and Multi-Barrel Rocket Launcher (MBRL) fire. The carnage worsened after the SLA declared the area as “safe haven”. On 21.01.2009 20 \u00a0reported killed Wednesday and around 30 civilians within 12 hours of 22.01.2009, according to Regional Director of Health Service (RDHS) for Mullaiththeevu district.
